Virgins and Reject Film Festival Rules

We invite you all to join us at the Virgins and Rejects Film Festival. All of you first timers will finally get your chance to enter the limelight and have your digital film showcased in this up and coming festival. For the rejects, it’s your chance for redemption.

Eligibility

There are two categories for the festival; you may only enter one category.

1.) If you are entering in the Virgin category, this must be your first time entering a film festival.
2.) If you are entering as a reject, you must also include a copy of your rejection letter from another festival.
3.) Background research will be conducted to assess eligibility.
4.) A submission form and a playable version of your digital film must be received by the deadline of September 21, 2009 or you will be disqualified.
5.) Submissions must have a minimum total running time of 1 minute and a maximum total running time of 10 minutes including credits.
6.) All music must have copyright clearance.

Mail in Submissions

1.Download, print out and fill out the submission form at: www.virginsandrejectsfestival.com.
2. Send application and playable version of the digital video (DVD, CD) to:

Online Submissions

1. Your entry must be posted as a video response to our promotional video at www.youtube.com/virginsandrejects.
2. Download, print out and fill out the submission form at: www.virginsandrejectsfestival.com.
3. Send application and playable version of the digital video (DVD, CD) to:

Protocol

• No submissions after the deadline of September 21, 2009.
• If you would like your copy mailed back to you, include a self-addressed postage paid envelope with your submission.
• Priority for the festival’s program will be based on the first 200 complete submissions received.
• The festival will on October 2 at the Victoria Theatre in San Francisco, CA.

Anyone of any age is allowed to enter and although we cannot choose all the films we get to show at the festival everyone is welcome to come.
